Sukkot in the Woods

B"H

Spent Sukkot with housemates up the Mckenzie River-- Lulav, Etrog, and everything. Still trying to figure it all out-- Hag on raging river, that is...

Beautiful shots, MS! It looks from your calendar like we missed your Eugene visit. :( Only just now getting back online much, so you'll have to call us when you're in town - Gabe wants to meet you!

I hope you're having a wonderful, inspiring time of great learning and connection out in the "wilderness" of Eastern Oregon.

Thanks Tzipporah, I do miss you more than you can know. Last visit in Eugene was crazy hectic-- as thry all seem to be these days. Truthfully, beyond that, the manner of my needing to leave community to work in this profession was and is so painful, that I have been avoiding overt contact with the community. Very very raw and painful. Of course, this rift, this kicking out of the womb birthed my national career-- but do we have to train our teachers and healers through trial by fire? Is there not a kinder, gentler method? Over at Moshav HaAm we think there is and are working to that end.

You and A. and Gabe though, I miss along with many great Eugene souls, and will not come through without stopping in on you again:)

Love to you and your family, may many blessings,
    Sarah
